Travel to Hmelniki
A series of works on the northern village of Hmelniki. In it, two heroes travel to the picturesque places of the village. The calendar consists of 13 paintings and illustrations, each of which is dedicated to the beautiful site of the village of Khmelniki. Heroes explore the nature, architecture and atmosphere of the village, creating a sense of little adventure.
The first thing I noticed when I looked at the pictures from the village was weirdly, the field. The image of the tall grass and wind tickling the skin has become almost tangible.

It’s a hot summer and the shadow of a tree that saves you from the heat more than anyone else. You can sit in it in the shadows, take a break, and think about your own.

The next illustration is part of my memories of childhood, which I thought could fit perfectly with reality in the village. «When I was little, I loved my grandmother’s flowers, helped me look after them, and they hid me during the hide-and-seek game, now my little sister does the same.»

A beautiful curved river flows through the village, and I feel that it is wonderful to swim in it.

Another image that hit the memory is the village church. Her elegant architecture contrasts sharply with the simple houses around it. And in the sun, it’s like it’s glowing from the inside.

The winter in the Chmelniks is also beautiful, the earth and the trees buried in the snow under the clear cold sky.

Morning picnic in the fog. I wanted to tell you the quiet and the calm of the morning, in which all the fuss vanishes.
When I looked at the pictures of the village, I often went into childhood memories. One of the moments I’ve been living in front of me is that I’ve been climbing trees with my friends.
The village is surrounded by a large forest — a wonderful beginning and the conclusion of any journey, for new adventures.
