The Shadows of Investigation
Old detective’s office is in the middle of darkness, a table lamp throwing long shadows on a desk filled with paper. Dust’s settled on old photo frames, and there’s a forgotten scarf on the hanger. There’s old letters on the table, there’s a cracked photo frame and a glass of unsatisfied coffee. The clock on the wall froze at the moment, as if there hadn’t been a master here in a long time.
Detective Richard Hale disappeared under mysterious circumstances. He was a private investigator working on a complicated case of a series of strange disappearances in the city. His desk contains the latest evidence — old letters, photos of suspects, and his personal records, full of reflections and guesses.
The phone on the table is off the phone like Hale was calling someone before he disappeared. The photo frame’s cracked. Someone left her in anger?
