«Solitude» is a virtual space created for use in Study With Me sessions. The main objective of the project is to create a comfortable and secluded space. The visitor is in a isolated area surrounded by the snowtops of the mountains. The chosen sitting reflects the desire to find happiness in itself, as well as the desire to achieve some degree of escapism.
The title in English means «singleness», but this does not accurately reflect the semantics of the words. The term is often perceived in negative connotations because «unity» and «solunity» are close within the meaning of the word. In my space, I tried to reflect a comfortable, cozy, and kind atmosphere in order to fully reveal the true meaning of the word.
When the stage is launched, the radio tower blinks, the boats swing, the rescue circle, and the buoys. The DitherTemporal AA mix line has also been developed. The scene was supplemented by sound escorts. A system of steps has been made for different surfaces, and coiling has been added for fireplaces, water noise and wind. The general ambience is heard weaker in the room, and it increases with the exit to the street.
Smaller parts included human and bird footprints in the snow, tree roots, snow on the roof of the house, railing and scissors, and icicles on the edge of the roof. A noble deer was also added to the scene. He reacts to the player’s approach by raising his head and looking around and then moving to the other side of the road.
In addition to the environment, the project also has an interior. It’s a lighthouse keeper’s house. Here he spends most of his time, so it contains all the comforts and also reflects the nature of his master.
