Dear HDD is a video diary festival, researched personal documentary and subjective optics.
Dear HDD is an attempt to capture transformative reality, to try to formulate or to see the distortion of human life and observations that has taken place over the past few years.

The festival is based on a direct address to Dear HDD as a personal diary. It’s a direct communication with the world through a subjective view.

For the festival, I organized the Open Colle and for two months, about 130 applications were submitted for the festival, of which I selected 19 video diaries shown on Dear HDD.
The festival program was divided into two days, on 17 and 18 May: «The movement of sight» and «The two-and-a-half meters of me». On the first day, 16 video diaries were shown, looking for an answer to the question, what is a video diary?
The subjective fixation of one person’s life relates to how the world feels right now. The festival is an attempt to articulate modernity, catch the present.
