Designers Taras Bezrukov and Stas Samkovich, TS Design, designed a house in Cyprus for a couple, their daughter and two cats. The windows offer a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea, framed by the greenery of cypresses. The layout and architecture of the house had its own nuances — a high ceiling, but a narrow hall, an insufficient number of rooms, an inconveniently located bathroom. As a result, the designers expanded the hallway, removing the toilet from this area. They added an office, and moved the living rooms to the second floor. On the second floor, they eliminated the large terrace and made a spacious master bedroom with a huge wardrobe, a women’s work table and a large bathroom with a window. The new bedroom volume was connected on the second floor by a transitional balcony that runs through the entire living room. The authors of the project diversified the light range and complemented it with rich gray-dark shades of wood and black accents.
