The ground is shifting beneath the feet. Reality distorts into bizarre patterns. And as an otherworldly mark spreads across the skin, the mind falls into an abyss.
A squad sent to eliminate an unidentified creature gets defeated. The last surviving soldier tries to find a way out of the industrial complex, but due to a wound inflicted by the enemy, his mind gradually sinks into a chaotic abyss alien to everything human.
The project is a teaser for the animated film State of Disintegration — a short in length, but dynamic and visually rich video.

Development process
The alien influence that consumes the soldier’s thoughts is visually reflected both in abstract visions and on the man’s body.
The creature comes to the factory from the darkest corner, the thickest shadow. The consciousness of the people unlucky enough to get in its way is shattered into the smallest fragments, only to become part of the guest’s ugly and anti-human mind.
The factory premises, winding corridors and humming workshops gradually take on a metamorphosis as the protagonist surrenders to disintegration. Intertwining pipes fall into the void, hallucinations become the new reality.
